Gwinnett Medical Center
Each of us at Gwinnett Medical Center has been touched by breast cancer – whether personally, or through a good friend or dear family member. Currently, a co-worker is fighting the battle of cancer and it has ignited a fire within each of us. Through surgery and chemotherapy, her determination and courage are an inspiration to us all. She is amazing!
So today we don our pink gloves as a personal commitment to breast cancer awareness. We sing and dance because we know the message is reaching our community, prevention and treatments are working, and we are succeeding in this fight. We are the hands that touch lives, the voices that bring comfort to our patients. Together we forge ahead toward a permanent cure for all those fighting breast cancer. And for our co-worker and friend who is showing us all what it truly means to be brave.
