Keuka College

Keuka College is a student-centered, liberal arts-based, private institution where learning is experienced as much outside of the classroom as it is inside. Experimental learning and community service are cornerstones of the college. Students and college personnel from athletics to academics raise awareness for breast cancer annually. The Keuka family came together for this cause as a whole. Students, staff, faculty and families came out in extraordinary numbers to dance with pink gloves, strut their stuff, and show support. Even though we may be small, our community at all levels (young and old) has felt and experienced the impact of cancer. The Pink Glove Dance was the perfect opportunity to “ignite” the nation and raise awareness. And through our college, a wave of enthusiasm, support, strength, and joy swept through the campus. Our video and alternate 3-D version express an evolution of originality and creativity from the original concept.
