Riverside Outpatient Surgery Center

The staff at our outpatient surgery facility did not need much of an incentive to join the pink glove dance in a show of support for breast cancer awareness. Several of our coworkers are breast cancer survivors, and most of us have a friend or a family member affected by the disease. We deal with the surgical aspect of breast cancer and see patients undergo two or three procedures during their treatment. Understandably, they are nervous. We wanted to try to present a lighter note to the surgical aspect by presenting a story of a patient who has “funny pink dreams” while they are under anesthesia. The patient awakens feeling relaxed and remembers that the “pink-gloved angels” were watching over her. We hope that our pink glove video will help to raise breast cancer awareness with a little humor and that you will laugh as much as we did making it.
