CHRISTUS Spohn Health System

One in eight women is diagnosed with Breast Cancer annually. ChristuS Spohn Health System is located in South Texas, and our mission is to provide services to the poor and vulnerable. Our six facilities with over 5,000 Associates saw this opportunity as a challenge to respond as a system in support of breast cancer awareness. Our system, like others, has been touched many times by breast cancer both for those we care for and for those that work among us. Staff, physicians, and volunteers came together as a united team to participate in this event. Our hope was to showcase our departments and their associates in a variety of activities demonstrating the power of “pink.” It is our hope that this video will showcase the importance of awareness, the passion of our associates, physicians, and volunteers and increase overall awareness regarding this disease.
