At Lexington Medical Center, we are passionate about providing comprehensive cancer care to our community. Participating in the Medline Pink Glove Dance Competition was a new way to showcase this commitment. Produced entirely in-house, our Pink Glove video features hundreds of hospital employees, volunteers and chaplains and honors those who are breast cancer survivors. We were overwhelmed by the number of employees who wanted to participate in this project and their enthusiasm. Our community inspires us every day and we hope that our Pink Glove video inspires them. “As a 16-year breast cancer survivor, I felt honored and connected to all of my co-workers during our dance. The support of family, friends and community make an enormous difference when faced with this fight.”
