Instant Noodles Crew

Instant Noodles is a B-boy crew originally from Taipei, Taiwan, currently located in Los Angeles and Orange County. As professional dancers, we bring an energetic and entertaining experience to our audiences. Upon learning of Pink Glove Dance, we immediately seized the opportunity; for some of us it was a personal venture, as we’ve had family members diagnosed with cancer. Additionally, the competition would enable us to reach beyond the usual result of our performances by directly contributing to others’ lives. In our video, the choreography expresses themes of strength, teamwork and support – concepts that serve as metaphors in overcoming cancer. Trust is inherent in group dancing – knowing movement and timing – shown in the first section of group choreography. In the second section, we experimented with physical assistance, which was new for us. The execution of one dancer’s move was dependent on another’s, therefore pushing us to find a deeper commitment to each other.
