Lake Mills Care Center

The Lake Mills Care Center, a long term care facility in Lake Mills, Iowa, is the home to more than 50 neighbors (residents). Lake Mills is a small community of approximately 2,500 located in North Central Iowa. Our staff strives to make a difference in the lives of our neighbors by being active and including them in community projects, inviting the community into our home, and planning special activities. The Pink Glove Dance was a perfect way to get our neighbors and staff involved in a fun and meaningful project. We wanted to help raise awareness about a disease that many of our staff and neighbors have been effected by directly and indirectly, and it was another reason to hold a party. All staff, neighbors and community members are invited to our viewing party on Friday. It was an important bonding experience and we look forward to participating again next year.
