Cancer – this six-letter word – can have such an enormous emotional impact on an individual’s life and on their family’s lives. Along life’s way, cancer will touch each and everyone’s lives either directly or indirectly. How one responds to the diagnosis, treatment and recovery can determine the overall outcome of how others will view and react to the diagnosis, be it positive or negative. Since I’ve chosen to view cancer and its effects as a positive experience, I’ve encouraged my coworkers and myself from Methodist Germantown Surgery Center to join me in recording the Pink Glove Dance video in an effort to raise funds and awareness for cancer research and treatment.
